Do You Live in One of the Best (or Worst) Cities for STEM Professionals?

Reading Time: 3 minutes

There is no question that jobs in STEM are the way of the future. But are the cities across the country keeping up with the times? Check out this list of the best, and the worst, cities for STEM professionals and see if it’s time to move – or are you right where you belong?

How The Cities Were Chosen

Simply put, the largest 100 cities across America were measured against 17 key metrics across two major dimensions, Professional STEM Opportunities, and STEM-Friendly Environments.

The key metrics were given weighted points. Each city was then scored based on its weighted average across all of the metrics.

These scores then determined the rank of each major city. If you’d like to take a deeper look into the study, check out wallethub.com here.
