ANOTHER EXPANSION FOR MFCP PROMISES TO BRING MORE PRODUCTS TO MORE BUSINESSES
Littleton, CO: Motion and Flow Control Products, Inc. (MFCP) is thrilled to announce its acquisition of Intermountain Hydraulics & Automation and Intermountain Hose & Fittings. Based in Salt Lake City and its surrounding areas, Intermountain is a major Parker distributor that perfectly encapsulates the MFCP mission: offer the absolute best products supported by outstanding customer service.
This key acquisition leverages new product sales and service strengths for MFCP. The impact on Intermountain customers is just as monumental, bringing value added products, services, and capabilities to the marketplace.
This is the seventh acquisition in as many years for the MFCP organization.
Of the acquisition and what it means for MFCP, CEO Darrel Sabin said, “Intermountain is a fantastic addition to our company. They are a major Parker distributor selling fluid connectors and hydraulics. This acquisition leverages our buying power, our depth and breadth of products, and helps MFCP continue to grow as one of Parker Hannifin’s largest distributors in the nation.”
Welcoming Intermountain to the MFCP family is just another step for the MFCP organization toward providing more products in more places. MFCP is also investing in online tools to digitally make the customer experience as seamless as possible, so “more places” isn’t just limited to a physical location.
Intermountain calls two locations home, both in Utah: Salt Lake City and Smithfield (about 90 minutes north of Salt Lake City). With these two locations, the MFCP footprint now totals 28 locations, spanning from Alaska to New Mexico to North Dakota.
