Today marks the beginning of the 81st Annual Oregon Logging Conference!
As big logging fans ourselves (by providing products for countless customers in the industry) this is a must-see event on our calendar every year. This weekend you can find us over at Booth #421.
At this year’s conference, we’ll hear from 20 different speakers over two days, take hands-on seminars, check out equipment displays and more. We’re particularly interested in the discussion about grapple logging – a safer way to harvest timber with less resources. You can see the entire agenda here.
Also, this is a great place and time to earn professional logger credits, with the potential to earn as many as eleven.
Along with the industry panels and product spotlights, we can’t deny the more artistic side of logging: wood carving – with chainsaws.
This year three chainsaw artists will work their magic and turn wood into pieces of artwork. Find out more about these artists – like who holds the title for creating “the cutest bears in Oregon” – right here.
This is the largest logging equipment show west of the Mississippi. If you’re in the Pacific Northwest, it’s a must-see.
