Home / Salem, Oregon: Your Fluid Power Powerhouse
Being in the dead center of the Willamette Valley gives us access to help customers in a wide range of industries. We see it all: food and beverage, agricultural, timber and forestry, and growing markets, like hazelnut production.
And in the decades since then, we’ve grown almost tenfold, from a 1,200 square foot building to a 10,000 square foot building. In that space, we’ve grown inventory, and our ability to offer on-site hose repair, including our favorite: hydraulic hose, industrial hose and air hose repair. And we do it all while you wait.
What you don’t have to wait for is a quote. Send your quote request now, and a member of our team will get back to you ASAP!
For our friends in the wine and brewery industries, we know it takes a lot of passion and dedication to create your one-of-a-kind products. That’s why we only work with the best manufacturers, like Parker Hannifin.
For our friends in the grass seed or food processing facilities (like canning, freezing, dried or exotic foods), we know the importance of sanitary products. And we do more than just the connectors, clamps, and gaskets. Our team in Salem can handle the gaskets, motors, filtration – the whole sanitary process.
In Salem, fluid power is one of our passions. That’s why we have an in-house team that can help with your fluid power questions or needs.
Have an issue with your hydraulic system? We can solve it for you.
Need customization, or help with valve pumps or motors? We have that expertise right here in Salem.
Not sure what you need? Even if all you know is you have this motor and this pump and you need a valve to do this, we can find the right valve for you.
A lot of our customers in Oregon need crimpers, but it might not be in their budget to buy one. MFCP can help. With our crimper placement program, we loan out Parker crimpers that stay on location at your business – without having to buy the crimper. The crimper is effectively yours to use on-site to crimp your own hoses on your own time.
In Salem and in the greater Oregon and Washington areas, we help hundreds of customers with Vendor Managed Inventory. We’ve even helped our customers pioneer new ways to handle VMI, like using Smart Bins, to cut back on using up warehouse space and unnecessary man hours spent counting inventory.
Neil, what do you like about working in the Salem area? I’m kind of a small town guy so it has worked out well living in Dallas, Oregon which is only 20 minutes from the Salem branch.
How long have you been with MFCP?29 years. Actually, I will have my 30th anniversary in this location in January of 2019.
Is there a specific memory that stands out since you’ve been with the company? When I first joined, I was apart of a company with five locations. We’ve built that up to almost 30 locations now. Part of that is because a job needs to be enjoyable – if you’re not happy with what you’re doing 10 hours a day, it makes for a long day.
